1. General Information and Scope

 

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers, classes, and services provided by muv Studio, Poststrasse 3, 8954 Geroldswil (hereinafter referred to as the “Studio”).

By booking a service (class, duet training, private session, workshop, event, or membership), you agree to these GTC as binding.

 

 

 

2. Offer and Registration

 

1. The Studio offers Reformer Pilates classes in small groups (max. 5 participants), private sessions (1:1), duet training (2 people), as well as workshops, events, and memberships.

2. Registration is only possible via the Studio’s online booking system.

3. A spot is only guaranteed once payment has been successfully completed and booking confirmed.

4. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

5. The Reformer Newbie Class is a one-time offer and can only be booked once per person. The Studio reserves the right to cancel multiple bookings by the same individual and refund the paid amount minus any applicable processing fees.

 

 

 

 

3. Participation and Health

 

1. Participation is at your own risk.

2. You are required to inform the Studio of any health issues or pregnancy before the class begins.

3. In case of health concerns, the Studio reserves the right to deny participation or require a medical clearance.

 

 

 

 

4. Prices and Payment

 

1. The current prices published in the pricing plan on the website apply.

2. Only advance payments via the booking system are accepted. In exceptional cases, payment in the studio may be possible.

3. Class packages, memberships, and single sessions are personal and non-transferable.

 

 

 

 

5. Cancellation Policy

 

1. Group classes, duet trainings, private sessions: Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the class starts. After that, the full amount will be charged.

2. Workshops and events: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the event. After that, 100% of the fee will be charged.

3. Class packages: Termination must comply with the deadlines outlined in the pricing plan and agreement.

4. No-shows will be charged in full.

 

 

 

 

6. Class Packages, Memberships, and Validity

 

1. Information about validity is available in the current pricing plan on the website.

2. Unused classes or packages expire once their validity period ends.

3. You can pause your package for holidays:

• 10-Class Package:​ ​1 pause allowed, max. 2 weeks

• muv+ Membership: depending on the subscription duration:

  • 1× pause for memberships of 3–5 months, max. 2 weeks

  • 2× pauses for memberships of 6 months or more, each max. 2 weeks

The pause takes effect from the date you inform us via email.

 4.   Refunds are only granted in the case of serious health conditions and upon presentation of a valid medical certificate (subject to goodwill policy).

 

 

 

 

7. Liability

 

1. Participation is at your own risk.

2. The Studio accepts no liability for injuries related to participation in its offerings.

3. The Studio is not liable for the loss or theft of personal belongings.

4. No liability is assumed for damages resulting from health conditions not disclosed to the Studio.

 

 

 

 

8. Studio Rules and Conduct

 

1. You agree to treat other participants and the Studio team with respect.

2. The instructions of the instructors must be followed.

3. The Studio reserves the right to exclude clients from participation in cases of repeated misconduct.

 

 

 

 

9. Changes to Schedule, Offerings, and Terms

 

1. The Studio reserves the right to adjust class times, prices, offerings, and these GTC if necessary.

2. Services that have already been booked remain valid until their expiration.

3. Changes to the GTC will be communicated in writing or by email.

 

 

 

 

10. Data Privacy

 

The privacy policy published on the website (https://muvstudio.ch) applies.

 

 

 

11. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

 

1. Swiss law applies exclusively.

2. Place of jurisdiction is Geroldswil, Switzerland.

 

 

 

 

12. Cancellation Policy for Pricing Plans

 

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 7 days without giving any reason, provided that the service has not yet started. The withdrawal period is 7 days from the date of purchase.

 

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us (muv Studio, Poststrasse 3, 8954 Geroldswil, email: info@muvstudio.ch) by means of a clear statement (e.g., by email) of your decision to withdraw from the contract.

 

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notification.

We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.

 

Important:

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely if the purchased service (e.g., class, training, event) has already started and you gave your full consent for the service to begin immediately.
